KSK channels

The shear connector channels described above must be joined with a grouting compound intended for this connection. The channels are anchored to the formwork in a closed state, either on their own or supplemented with a trapezoidal channel of the required dimensions. After the concrete has been poured and the formwork subsequently removed, the channel is opened by means of a detachable lid, and once it has been removed, the connecting wire ropes are released.

These connections are able to reliably transmit shear loading forces parallel to the joint or perpendicular to the joint.
